“From the very beginning, the investor's wish was very clear: to create a representative company headquarters, a quality working environment, plenty of space for a rest and adequate facilities. Apart from the capacity requirements for individual functional parts and the emphasis on the use of natural and high-quality materials, no specific assignment was made. Reliance and freedom have given us all the more energy for the sometimes difficult search for adequate answers to ambiguous questions. We were puzzled mainly by non-standard space constraints and the implementation of modern technologies and ergonomic standards in the historic environment. All this while maximally preserving the valuable handicraft elements and respecting the genius loci of the building. The three basic motifs that intertwine, complement and balance each other in various forms in the spaces of the entire floor - representation, work and rest.”
