Chestnut House
Location: Štramberk, Czech Republic
“The orientation and small area of the garden together with the huge chestnut tree clearly determined the overall atmosphere. In fact, it is a paraphrase of peeling a chestnut from its prickly green skin. Our Chestnut grew up in an overgrown green garden, where raw untreated wood in combination with tanned brushed tiles refers to a stout tree on the plot."
