Pipca

Location: Prague, Czech Republic
“Bistro Pipca is located in the newly emerging “gastro” district on Milady Horákové Street in Prague's Letná district. The main role here is played by chicken - pipca and the method of its preparation: the grill called rotisserie, thanks to its size and unmistakable design, forms the heart of the business. The entire bistro is one space, in which the kitchen is separated only by the work area. Nothing is hidden from sight or hearing, and thus a great interaction is created between the guest and the chefs. The interior combines mainly the original materials of the house - brickwork, scraped paint, steel structures and concrete floors with new elements in the form of white hexagon tiles, leather upholstery of the benches and oak wood, from which all the atypical furniture is made. The oak beams used for the serving table and other parts of the interior come from a mill that is more than a hundred years old. A distinctive element of the entire space is the neon sign "pipca", which, together with the chicken symbol on the signboard, forms the bistro's logo, designed by graphic designer Richard Jaroš from the side2 studio."
