„A cluster of forest apartments for hotel Björnson. Placing modules in between trees is considered ecological not only because of saving as much as possible trees, but also because of minimum contact with ground due to lift up buildings on thin pillars instead of the full concrete plate foundations. Each building / cottage consist of two independent modules. Each module has it´s own independent apartment, but opening the middle sliding wall between two modules we can connect living rooms and from compact spaces of solo apartments we create spacious middle core where both families meet for social life.” ”
